It’s a fact.
This Invicta Grand 3044, is a diver’s watch that has an incredible amount of detail to it.
A lot of times, Invicta watches get brushed aside when talking about quality diver’s watches.
But they are actually watches of incredibly high quality.
From the great color choices to the great features we take a deep dive into this watch in this Invicta 3044 review.
Let’s dive right in.
- Stainless steel case 47mm diameter x 14.44mm thick; Exhibition case back; Black dial; Luminous hands and hour markers
- NH35A Japanese Automatic movement, 24 jewel; Assembled in Malaysia; Watch weight: 310 grams
- Stainless steel band, 215mm L x 22mm W; Band is adjustable by adding/removing links; Fold over safety clasp
For starters, this watch uses an Automatic movement. This means that you won’t have to worry about changing the battery or having to constantly wind the watch as this movement is powered by human movement.
Specifically, this timepiece uses Japanese Automatic movement, which isn’t as accurate as their Swiss counterparts, but still retains a lot of its accuracy while also being cost-effective.
Dial & Crystal
Let me just start by saying that the dial on this watch is pure class. The black background with the white details is just incredibly simple, while also being so eye-catching.
The pointy design of the hands, combined with the white color on them allows for very easy reading of the time, while also giving off an air of sophistication.
At the 12 o’clock position is the lauded Invicta logo, and at the 3 o’clock position is a date window that is just as easy to read as the time.
To protect a high-quality dial such as this is a very strong and tough mineral crystal.
Case & Crown
The case on this watch measure 47mm in diameter, this is very large for a men’s watch, but considering the current trend of large men’s watches, this design is on point.
On an average man’s wrist, this watch fits just right, and since the case is only 18mm wide, it fits right underneath the cuff.
The stainless steel crown matches the material of the case, and allows for easy adjustment of the time, while also being designed to give the watch more water resistance than a lot of other watches out there (but we’ll get to that later).
Like most other diver’s watches out there, this timepiece has a unidirectional bezel, allowing you to easily time your dive and read the watch underwater. Similar to the dial, the bezel comes in a nice, deep black color with white details.
Strap & Buckle
This watch has a very nice stainless steel strap, which complements the rest of the product perfectly. To add to that, it also has a diver’s buckle with a fold over clasp, so rest assured that this watch won’t be slipping off your wrist at any time.
Whether you’re going for a dive, or simply wearing it throughout the day.
Now, this is a diver’s watch so it comes with much better water resistance than most timepieces out there. The Invicta 3044 is water resistant up to 300m, this means that you can basically wear it for any activity, be it your daily shower, or even a dive out in the open ocean.
I don’t need that many complications when I’m looking at a watch, because I simply won’t use a lot of them. But this product comes with just the right complications one would use throughout the day.
The date window is obviously very useful and is also incredibly easy to read because it’s a cyclops date window, but by far my favorite complication that comes with this watch is the lume. This allows users to read the time, no matter how dark it is.
This watch is by far a timepiece of very high quality. With its stainless steel case, automatic movement, and premium design, there aren’t that many reasons not to love this watch.
A diver’s watch is one of the quintessential pieces in a watch collection due to its overall beauty and practicality, and there aren’t a lot of watches in the same price range that beat the Invicta Grand 3044.
