Did you know?
This Bulova Accutron II Surveyor is a unisex watch that’s classy enough for a formal dinner but laid back enough to wear on casual Fridays.
The model has a 41mm case, which can work with both men and women, and the gold stainless steel case adds a touch of femininity, especially when paired with the gold tones of the dial.
The watch runs on Japanese Quartz, giving it the accuracy associated with that movement.
On top of all that, the watch also has a calendar window, luminous hands, and 30m of water resistance.
Making this a great watch for those with a taste for timepieces that are both classy and casual.
And in this Bulova Surveyor review, I’ll get into the cool features of this watch.
- Gold stainless steel case and band with round face, 41 mm
- Quartz movement and scratch resistant mineral crystal
- Gold dial with luminous gold hands and index hour markers and date display at the 6 o'clock position
- The unisex design works for both men and women
- The quartz movement keeps very good time
- The 30m of water resistance allows you to wear the watch for light swims
- Luminous hands allow you to read the time even in the dark
- Only has a mineral crystal
It should come as no surprise that a unisex watch has a flexible design, but a lot of watch companies have released unisex pieces that aren’t really unisex.
That isn’t the case with this model, though.
I can easily see this watch being pulled off by both men and women.
This is because Bulova was able to balance the feminine and masculine elements very nicely.
For starters, the large 41mm case gives it a manly feel, but not too much as to make it look like just a men’s watch.
The gold tones spread throughout the watch really balance things out, especially with the golden stick markers.
When on a man, this watch gives off an air of sensitivity while still looking tough.
When on a woman, this watch can give you a powerful and stylish look.
Either way, this piece is ideal for both formal and casual outfits.
Accuracy, Precision, And Convenience
The Japanese Quartz movement on this watch makes it much more appealing.
This is because the movement is known for both its accuracy and its practicality.
Quartz crystals that vibrate at a certain frequency keep this watch ticking at consistent intervals, only losing a couple of seconds a month.
For any of you who love being punctual, then this movement may be the one for you.
Since it can keep accurate time for extended periods without needing re-adjustment, this watch will help keep you on time for a long while.
To add to all that, you don’t have to manually rewind the watch since it’s powered by a battery that can last for years.
When I was reading about this watch, I was really expecting it to be expensive.
It looks great, keeps accurate time, and is made with accurate materials.
There really isn’t anything on the watch that will make it look cheap.
However, while internet prices vary, this watch usually stays below the 250 dollar mark.
For a watch with great timekeeping ability and quality style?
That isn’t a bad price at all.
But it’s hard to expect less from Bulova as the company has been delivering very high-quality timepieces at practical prices since their inception.

Customer Scores And Reviews
I couldn’t rely solely on my own thoughts when solidifying an opinion on this watch.
So I went to the review section of Amazon to see what other people thought, and a lot of customers shared my thoughts.
Both male and female customers loved the watch, with one customer saying that this watch is an instant classic.
There was another customer called this a bold timepiece that takes guts to wear but is definitely worth the risk of wearing.
The one complaint I saw came from a customer who didn’t really like the crystal.
While the crystal is curved and displays the dial very nicely, it is only a mineral crystal.
This is a very strong material, but it isn’t as strong as sapphire.
But mineral crystals are much cheaper than sapphire crystals, which aids in keeping this watch in its price range.
While it may seem impossible for a watch to appear both masculine and feminine, Bulova says otherwise.
And it’s seen in this watch. This is definitely a watch for a person with style, regardless of gender.
So if you’ve been on the market for a great looking watch with incredible accuracy, you may want to check out this Bulova Surveyor.
