This quartz watch vibrates at a superior frequency of 262 kHz which results in a kind of accuracy that a lot of other quartz movements can’t achieve.
This movement is manifested in a simple and minimalistic dial that sports three sub-dials for the chronograph function of the watch.
The dial looks great in the 43mm case, which is made of stainless steel to protect the watch.
All of this is topped off with 330 ft of water resistance, making this a great everyday watch for the modern, stylish man.
And in this Bulova Military watch review, I’ll share some of the cool features of this watch.

Simple, Straightforward Design
By far my favorite part of this watch’s design is the layout of the dial.
First of all, the beige background serves as a unique, yet beautiful base for the black Roman numeral markers, as well as for the white, red, and black hands.
The subtle red on the sub-dial and minute markers make reading the time very easy on this watch.
Having this dial design on a 43mm case really helps flaunt the cool design of this watch.
The timepiece is obviously inspired by old-school military watches, and the modern details they put on it make it an ideal timepiece for the modern man.

Quartz watches are already very well-known for their accuracy and practicality.
That’s what makes it one of the most popular and widely-used movements today.
The quartz crystal on this timepiece vibrates at a frequency of 262 kHz, making it much more accurate than its counterparts.
This accuracy allows you to have accurate time, wherever and whenever you are.
And if you value punctuality as much as I do, then this becomes a very valuable feature.
As the saying goes, being 5 minutes early is on time, being on time is late, and being late is unacceptable.
This has been repeated a bunch of times, and the movement on this watch makes it easier to live by those words.
Chronograph And Calendar Functions
While the design and layout of this watch are very straightforward and simplistic, the functions of this watch can cover all your daily time needs.
For starters, the calendar on the watch reminds of the date in a pretty cool way.
Instead of placing the date window at the 3 o’clock position, it takes the place of the 5 o’clock marker, which not only looks cool but is very easy to read.
To add to that is the chronograph function.
It measures up to a tenth of a second, and you can see that in the three sub-dials.
Those two already encompass all I need from an everyday watch.
But Bulova also decided to add luminous markers to allow you to read the time anywhere, as well as a screw-down crown that makes sure you don’t change the time accidentally.

- Stainless steel case
- Screw down crown

Customer Scores And Reviews
Of course, before finalizing my opinion of this watch, I had to see what other people thought of this watch.
The best place to see that for me is the Amazon review section, where everyday people express their honest thoughts on the watch.
And to my delight, it seemed like a lot of people loved the watch.
One reviewer said that the retro design and quality movement make this watch a definite keeper.
Another reviewer simply said that this is a beautiful watch with an awesome military look.
However, there was one complaint I saw.
It came from a customer who wished for a sapphire crystal instead of the mineral one on this watch.
While that would’ve been great, it also would’ve jacked up the price.
That’s why I’m happy and content with Bulova’s decision to put a mineral crystal on this model.
There aren’t really any negative things to say about this watch, it simply delivers on every level.
The retro-design makes it a great pair for a lot of casual outfits, and the movement assures you that you’ll always have the right time.
