The Bulova Claremont 96B129 is a timepiece with a classic, timeless design and modern technology.
This model has one of the most precise movements available, along with a simple, straightforward design.
The 44mm case makes the watch a great accessory for most wrist sizes, and the laid back simplicity of the dial gives the watch a very casual feel.
If you’re on the hunt for a highly functional everyday watch, then this may be the piece for you.
And in this Bulova Claremont review, I’ll tell you why.
-The diameter of the case is a great match for both large and small wrists
-The stainless steel used in the case and bracelet give the watch extra durability
-The four-layer black and silver dial makes reading the time very easy
-Sweeping seconds hand
-The watch only has a mineral crystal
A Movement More Accurate Than Quartz
By using a three-pronged crystal, Bulova was able to create the Precisionist movement.
A movement that they claim to be the world’s most accurate.
While this may seem like a bold claim, Bulova definitely has the evidence to back it up.
The crystal vibrates at a frequency greater than that of a standard quartz crystal, making up to three times more accurate.
This is evident as watches with this movement only lose a couple of seconds every year, compared to a couple of seconds every month associated standard quartz movements.
The Precisionist movement is one of the biggest selling points of this watch.
This is because having this model on your wrist means that you will always have the right time.
And if you appreciate punctuality the same way I do, you’ll understand why this is a great feature.
A Simple Yet Classy Design
When I think of Bulova, I usually imagine their complex designs.
However, this piece is a nice breath of fresh air.
Bulova chose to keep it simple with this watch without sacrificing any class.
The quadruple-layered black and silver dial is plain eye candy.
With the large Arabic numeral markers, and tiny white minute markers on the outer dial, this watch face will catch the eye of any watch wearer.
All of that is paired perfectly with a 44mm stainless steel case and bracelet.
Not only does it add a great deal of style, but it’s also a very flexible size.
No matter what your wrist size, this watch will look great while still being caught up with the growing trend of large men’s watches.
Along with its incredibly accurate movement, the watch has very useful functions for the everyday man.
This watch isn’t overflowing with functions however, but that is far from a bad thing.
Luminous markers, a date window, and 99m of water resistance are about everything you’d need on a day to day basis.
I especially appreciate the water-resistance as it allows me to wear the watch in the shower or when going for a swim.
Though this piece probably won’t fare too well if you take it with you on a snorkeling trip, it isn’t what it was designed for anyway.

Customer Scores And Reviews
Of course, I also had to see what other people thought of the watch before finalizing my thoughts.
That’s why I went on the Amazon review section, only to be greeted by a wave of positive reviews.
One reviewer loved how comfortable the watch felt on his relatively small wrist.
Others really enjoyed the functionality of the Precisionist movement while also appreciating the simple and classy design.
But not everyone was completely satisfied.
One customer explained how he liked the piece but would’ve liked it even more if it had a better crystal.
While there are better crystals than mineral ones, they aren’t exactly weak either, as they are also very strong and scratch-resistant.
All-in-all, there isn’t much to complain about with this watch.
Aside from the crystal, I didn’t wish for anything more.
It’s a great everyday timepiece that will always be on time, which will definitely help you be on time as well.
For anyone out there looking for a great combination of style and precision, then the Claremont is one to watch out for.
